Smiffies 2006 6-stage relays

After a great drive over in the Needsy's Tranny van,
I was informed by a rather disgruntled team manager that I was on leg 2
for the B-team, this news rocked me to the core as I was all prepared for
a 5th leg barmstorming run.
I set off in front of TAC A-teams
womaniser Bertie Bagshaw but alas I struggled to keep my focus & Baggy
had got me, the rest as they say is history & I turned in 24:30, my
dreams of a sub 19min run had been dashed by A)The team managers late
decision to send me off 2nd,B)Rather nice ladies dotted around the course
& C)Mrs Sanders flashing off her designer scar.
Other notable
points to be said are that Nicks very, very poor performance for the
A-team were down to dodgy beer the night before (yerr right Niko!), Mrs
Sanders was HOT, HOT, HOT & definately needs to get rid of some excess
energy after being a couch potato for half the year, Claire despite
running an extremely quick time is after a short conversation very unfit,
she needs to drop the WKD blue's & start pumping a bit of......Iron,
muscles is what the lass needs!!!
Apologies for the lack of professional reporting on my behalf but when you run a 24:30, running's a bit of a joke...Haha LoL...:-) Well done to all the 4 ladies especially Sarah Mackness, who ran an excellent leg for the girls.
