Pictures from the last ever wrekin run organised
by Orleton Park School. The race goes up to the summit and back. Ex pupils
are invited back each year to take part. Darren rimmer is the course record holder with an amzing time of 36 mins 21secs with the race around six and bit miles long.
The Last RaceIn the last ever race this year former pupil Tony Nicholls (WRR) worked hard to win after a blistering start by Jamie Davies, who was being pace setted by Pete Arnold for the first two miles until he got stich, won the race in 43.10 chased all the way by Jamie Davies (TAC) in second 44.59, with Pete Arnold (TAC) taking it steady and coming in 3rd in a modest49.20.
