Cheryl Evans is back on top form as she demonstrated with her recent 10K PB of 36.48. She finished first lady
overall, taking gold medal, in the British Masters 10K at Newtown Wales. Also competing was Nellie Sanders who finished 7th overall and 3rd in age group taking the bronze medal.

Richard Hemmings led the way home for the Shropshire Schools team at the
English Schools Cross Country Championships held on a very testing course at
the picturesque Temple Newsam Park in Leeds. Richard from Adams Grammar
School, Newport who had finished 54th in his first year as a senior boy at
last years championships held in Mansfield.

North Wales Cross Country Round Up

The 5th and final North Wales Cross Country League was cancelled this year due
to the heavy snowfalls that affected the Oswestry area at the end of February.
It proved very difficult to find an alternative date so it has been decided by
league officials to decide the final league results from the four fixtures that
took place.

The alpine conditions didn't deter Michael James (SAC) from
outperforming the rest of the field in the 2007 Ironbridge Half Marathon. Kim
Green (TAC) bolstered her recent excellent record to take the ladies trophy.

for the Titterstone Clee Fell Race, early arrivals were treated to a fantastic
vista as they climbed out of Ludlow up to Clee Hill with the lowlands over
Worcestershire & Herefordshire swathed in low cloud and just the higher
ground poking out like ships at sea.
